  • Notes 
    • John Bibighaus and Magdelena Michel were married in 1763 in Germany, emigrated to the United Stated via the "Sally" Capt. John Omstead, and arrived at the port of Philadelphia October 29, 1770. They settled in Bedminster, Bucks County, Pa. where John purchased a farm, which he farmed, and also carried on merchanidsing until 1811. They connecetd themselves with the Keichline German Reformed Church at Tochicken, Bucks County, Pa. John died May 12 1811 at age 70 years, his wide having preceded him, she dying the 9th day of December 1799, aged 54 years, and both were buried in the graveyard of Tochicken Church, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
