- Martha Mildred Frey, 96, of Williams Township, PA went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in Gracedale. Born July 21, 1920, in Springtown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Edwin, Sr. and Florence Cawley Balliet.
Martha was employed as a nanny for Dr. Auerbach's family for many years. Previously, she worked for the former Macabee Printing. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading and bowling. Martha was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Williams Township, where she was a member of the women's group and helped with church bazaars.
Surviving is a daughter, Sandra Hulbert, of Williams Township; a brother, Edwin Balliet, Jr., of Quakertown, a granddaughter, Susan Wolfe and her husband David, of Collegeville, PA; a great-granddaughter, Amanda Wolfe; and a son-in-law, Jack Hulbert, of Belfast. She was predeceased by two brothers, Ralph and Kenneth Balliet and two sisters, Dorothy Helm and Irene Hrycko.
Private services will be held in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 602 W. Berwick Street, Easton.
