  • Notes
    • Nicholas, only three years old when his father died, was raised by his Dutch mother and her relatives in Harlem and Kingston, NY. One sister and three brothers precede Nicholas who later took the name "Lozier" (Dutch phonetic pronunciation of "Le Sueur").

After marrying, Nicholas moved from Harlem to Hackensack, NJ, to farm. He purchased a farm in Teaneck, NJ, from agents of King George of England. Part of it remained in the Lozier family until 1930. It is shown on the Erskine maps used by George Washington as "Lurzires House."

Nicholas was a founder of the First Reformed Church in Hackensack, NJ

After his death, the farm was divided among his 10 sons, some of whom sold their inheritance to others.

Only child of Francois Le Sueur to change his name to Lozier.
