Bio: Lois I. Teel, 85, of Forest Inn, formerly of Little Gap, went to be with the Lord Friday, November 1 from her daughters home with family by her side. She was the wife of the late William L. Teel, Sr. Lois was a floor worker for the former Scottys Fashions, Little Gap, a part owner of the former Blue Lantern Drive-In, and, along with her husband, a co-founder of Future Homes modular homes, both in Palmerton. She was a member of Valleyview Baptist Church in Moore Twp, Towamensing Grange, 4H, and the Palmerton High School class of 1945. Lois and her sister Daisy were popular local entertainers in the 1940s. They sang and played guitar together at granges, reunions, and even on the radio. Born in Kunkletown, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Alma (Frantz) Kunkle. Survivors: Daughter, Laurel, wife of Al Meckes of Kunkletown; daughter-in-law, Lori Teel of Palmerton; grandchildren, Julianne and Elizabeth Teel, Christie Hoffman, Corey Meckes; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Daisy Berger of Palmerton, Leanne, wife of Christopher Walther of Boulder, Colorado; niece, Elease Berger, nephew John Kunkle, cousins. She was predeceased by her son, William Jr. last year
